Tools are used during battle to increase or decrease castle wall and gate protection. There are two types of tools, siege tools and defense tools. Siege tools are used when attacking to reduce gate and wall protection while defense tools are used to increase gate and wall protection when defending a Castle or an Outpost from attack. Siege tools are made with a Siege workshop while defense tools are made with a Defense workshop. Upgrading these workshops unlocks more tools. Tools are made using Resources, coins or Rubies. Tools made from rubies are more effective than those made from resources and are made instantly.
